Amit Basu

Amit founded COGNATIV after thirty years turning technology into enterprise value. He has grown or turned around numerous technology companies through acquisitions of $300M and above, and stabilized mature businesses to support investor liquidity events, among them Procurian, which he helped prepare for its acquisition by Accenture.

He has held CIO, CTO, Managing Director, and EVP roles at BNY Pershing, MSCI, Accenture, and LSEG, spanning product strategy, high-volume transaction processing, and complex data analytics.

An International Leadership Fellow at St. George's House, Windsor Castle, he has worked in London, Singapore, and the US, and holds an Engineering degree from UCL.
